Instankarma

is a performing arts company coagulating its own dance, musical theatre, performance and post-dramatic narrative. Established in 2011 by singer/dancer Niina Vicktoria Tamminiemi and singer/dancer Laura Pietiläinen. Projects also collaborate with artists from different fields.

We have developed method for an energetic body awareness, in which singing, classical music arrangement, disparate musical styles, elements of dance and movement dramaturgy amalgamate into a new kind of artistic thought and expression. An ever-continuous synthesis of singing and dancing, a unique,a powerful performance language, which we call Opera Physical.
