BLUE PLANET
10/2015 LéSpace,  Helsinki

Blue Planet is a continuation of the work of Kanon Melia (2013-14), in which human instability, caprice, dramaticism and self-referentiality are observed through a mythology of the tree. On the blue planet the myth comes to an end, the tree falls, and the woodland nymphs must renounce their identity. Here starts a mind-blowing journey from the soil to the upper regions of space, light and the heart beat. Through a fictional and historical metamorphoses the performers find themselves on a poetry of earth that is ceasing never.

We have adapted different composer's musical compositions detached from their eras, so that they can be approached as pure energy from their initial context and representation. An ever-continuous synthesis of singing and dancing, Opera Physical is the overall auditory effect changing an acoustic classic sound into an electronic genre from Daft Punk to Händel.

STABAT MATER
3 & 4/ 2015 Kallio Church, Winter Garden of Helsinki City,  Church, Helsinki

A powerful opera physical performance spiringing from the quietness to overcome human suffering and surrender to the universal joy of life.

STABAT MATER -Stabat Mater, is a 13th-century Catholic hymn to Mary, variously attributed to the Franciscan Jacopone da Todi and to Innocent III. It is about the Sorrows of Mary.  The musical setting of the Stabat Mater sequence is  composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi in 1736, in the final weeks of his life.

InstantKarma's STABAT MATERI the work opens out through song, music and choreographic expression           The use of electronic soundscapes alongside of the acoustic classical music expands the overall auditory effect.
